8-days of boredom at work =(
Started the job at Singapore Pools that fang intro-ed. OMG!! It is damn boring!! but i'll stay on because 8 days will pass very quickly, 6 more days to go. The job is like what fang said, a 'sai gang' (slack job) Basically, all u have to do is to just separate the lucky draw coupons into two parts, those with email add and those without. It is a chickenfeet task, the only idiotic part is that they located us in this pathetic room without any tables, only rolling chairs and boxes. Back pain! ARGG! imagine bending over from time to time for nearly 8 hrs a day. We always look forward to lunch and knock off time! =D For the sake of the money, i will persevere! Thankfully, i have fang's company and we're like buying 4D and toto every now and then. haha "HUAT" AR!

Sushi...again!
Finally met up with Fang and Cindy. They were so busy with exams the past few weeks. Dinner and caught up with one another. More to come next week when Sher is done with her school work.

Weekend madness

Semester one has ended so we decided to hit the beach on Friday. Although there were drizzles from time to time but we still managed to get tanned and had fun.

Rushed home to bathe and met my bro and Jill, Rox, Pam and Lit at Great World City for dinner and bowling at KimSeng Plaza. After Lit went for work and Jill went home, we got the car from Pam's place and the 4 of us (it's been soo long!) went for supper at river valley and hung out at vivo. Initially wanted to go Mt faber but we couldnt find the road that leads up to it. Got back to their place at 2+am and we stayed over. Woke up the next morning for dimsum breakfast at dawson mall including Lit. Lazed the afternoon away watching dvds and falling asleep on the couch. My aunt got us free movie tickets at Lido so Fran and i went home to bathe. He changed his mind at the very last min so only i went with them to Lido. They were so nice to come fetch me from my place becos it was really late already.

Phew~ We nearly met an accident at the roundabout at newton. Thankfully Pam steped up on the accelerator and we escaped an oncoming taxi.

Caught Hairspray and they sent me home. Thanks for the ride, Pammy!

Sushi & starbuks
Thursday, met Patpatmo and Eugenia for dinner at hollandv. Sushi-ed at sushitei, a restaurant with welcoming ambiance, delicious japanese cuisine and great company =D After sushi, went starbuks for coffee and some more catching up. Next time, Shikin and Izzah better turn up!

Billy Bomb Fire Works

Friday, met up with Rox after sch and headed to Marina Sq for dinner. It tooks us very very long to decide where we wanted to go. Look how boring Sg is, seriously, no idea on where to hangout. So after much consideration, decided to go watch fireworks. Had dinner at BillyBombers. The creamed spinach is superb! i think i can eat 4 bowls of it. Only $4.90, i think. So next time i'll just go there for creamed spinach! Caught the fireworks from Spain, i think. Lasted for around 12 mins, as beautiful as ever. Walked to Cathay, wanted to settle for Ben&jerry's ice cream but the place was crowded, so we went to coffee club for chocolate fondue! Used up our last 15bucks on it just to satisfy our chocolate cravings. Total shiokness! Sleptover at her place and snuggled up on her comfy queen sized bed.

Hot mama Gwen Stefani
Just mins before 14th Aug, Sherie asked if i wanna go to gwen stefani's concert with tickets going at $65. OMG, just hrs before, i was still thinking to myself "hais, gwen stefani's concert is tmr and i'm actually going to miss it.." How coincident is that =D
Gwen Stefani is hot hot hot man! her killer abs, her beautiful legs and gorgeous face. Her vocals during live is soo damn beautiful. She is the hottest mom on earth man, seriously. She even sang a song for Kingston(her son). How sweet is that. The song is 'the real thing' from her L.A.M.B album. She also performed her hit songs like 'the sweet escape', Sherie kept hoping that Akon would come out, 'rich girl', '4 in the morning', 'wind it up', 'hollaback girl' and some other songs. She even went into the crowd! how i wish i was seated there. This is the first concert that i had been to where the singer actually go into the crowd and mingle with them. She is soo soo cool and needless to say, gorgeous like WOW! What an awesome performance!

So after the concert, we didnt get enough of her so we went to wait for her at the exit where her van will be leaving by. OMG, we actually got tricked by the bouncers and walked away right before she came out. We could have felt her and gotten very close to her!
Damn it man! Only got to see her through the tiny spaces between the crowd. We saw her leave her in her van and waved goodbye =D Supper at river valley and then headed home. What a great day it has been.

Friday/Saturday
Caught 2 movies in a day =D thank you my dear pammy for catching 'secret' with me, although i know u didnt want to watch it very much. Lets bowl some time soon with Rox and Lit okay?
Another movie was 'rush hour 3' with prislala, hx and xm. Laughed our asses off man! Slept over at lala's place. Spent the wee hours chatting till we fell asleep. Next morning, she drove us out for brunch. Okay, her driving skills are thumbs-up actually, kinda impressed.
Sunday
Wanted to catch '881' with my mom today but was too lazy to go out.
No work = eat + eat + tv + tv
I think i better go to work during the weekends so i dont get any fatter than what i already am now. 2 more weeks to my "big" 3 weeks break off sch, counting down! but i'm sure going to miss w34h =(

Live the dream
Watching Live the dream on tv now. Hot & gorgeous hosts, talented singers espicially the bands/groups and solos..they are so so so much better than Sg Idol, whatever campus superstar, superstar show on channel u. Go on, live ur dream! And oh my god, Dick Lee is 51 already. He don't look like he's 51 at all. WOW!

42nd birthday already. How time flies. I was watching NDP earlier on, on tv.
"this is where i wanna be" by Kit Chan, very simple lyrics but it expresses the feelings of many Singaporeans. Although i always say that i hate singapore, i hate the weather, i hate that they are so many things that we have to pay for, i hate the kiasu, unhygienic singaporeans and i want to move out of this country. But whenever i go on a holiday and get back, i would say to myself "it feels good to be back". This is where my lovely family and closest friends are, where i grew up in, where the yummiest laksa, chicken rice and so many other local food are. Afterall, i'm still a singaporean =) So, no matter where i'll be in future, Singapore will always be my first home.

Wednesday, no bags day.
No sch! =D Went to priscillia's house in the early afternoon. Wanted to bake but we didnt have any receipes so we decided to cook, backyard style. We couldnt find the peeler for the potatoes and carrots so we had to use all sort of methods to peel the skin. Pris even tried peeling the uncooked potatoes with her bare fingers. HAHA, how "smart" eh. After all the cutting and washing is done, we found the bloody peeler!!

After lunch, we went to vivo for shopping! =D Went back at 8pm to change and then met Pat and Sher and cabbed to MOS. Had jugs at MOS and free drinks at Gotham Penthouse. Met up with Pris and her cous there. Everyone was already feeling high at Gotham and we were basically laughing all the way from clark quay to Zouk. It was bloody crowded everywhere. The auntie in the toilet was so cute. Look at her photography skills..

I had to give up the fun-filled night at Edward's place because of i had to study for my final paper this morning. =( Stuuood!
